NASA wants to retrieve and study the 96 bags of poop we left on the moon

Serious question: can it be done without disturbing the dust at the site?
For Apollo 11, at least, it feels like the site should be preserved as the very first footsteps of humanity on another body. Maybe it's too much to ask for all of the sites, but Apollo 11 is a really big historical deal.
Eh, maybe it's not thinking about. As soon as space travel becomes touristy, tourists are going to start tromping around the site -- and probably grabbing souvenirs, unless guards are positioned 24/7 before tourists get there. That first footprint is going to be gone long before Fry gets to it in the year 3000.
