This makes sense.<p>AIUI the opinion says: Although EU law affords media rights holders additional rights to protect their businesses, this company doesn't have a business model other than using those additional rights, therefore the company has nothing that the additional rights would protect, therefore it doesn't have the additional rights.<p>One may have different opinions on those additional rights etc. That's orthogonal to this opinion.
A bit surprised Denmark's courts allowed ip addresses to be transferred.<p>Honestly though I wish 'pirate' didn't have such a broad definition.<p>Essentially there should be a big distinction between pirate and seeder/leecher, where one is actively selling stolen goods and the other just consumes shared goods.
