I have been working mostly from home over the past 5 years and with enough flexibility that I've usually done chores during the weekdays (working earlier, later, or more on some other days to make up when that's necessary to perform at the same level) and I realized during my brief stint back into an office routine this year that this was a huge luxury and something I value enormously. In addition, my family is in Europe (I'm in the US) and being able to call them during the workday spontaneously instead of making it a planned thing to do over the weekend has been a huge perk as well. I think the 4-day workweek sounds great for people who can't have the same day to day flexibility but would like the convenience the article mentions
