This is most interesting. I didn't realize Jimi Hendrix's music (at least Purple Haze) is now Public Domain in Canada.<p>I imagine this doesn't include his cover songs, such as those from Bob Dillan.<p>I have often read that Hendrix' music will never be public domain in my lifetime because of record companies buying the rights. Is any of that true?
