I would like to know what is background story of all this? UFO stories have their hype each decade and I am interested why, is it some kind media diversion tactic or what? Because, I have feeling that no one cares anymore, at least I do not, after years of media "hypes" and "shocking" news my personal reaction to everything is meh. I have feeling that even if mother ship appeared one day I would have the same reaction. So, I am not sure what is there to hide. And how exactly would that change our perception about humanity. Religions will still exist, corrupt people will still exist, corporate greed, corruption, global warming and everything else will just continue as usual... Why anyone even thinks that some kind of external agent will save us from our selves and give us even more technology, when we are not capable of handling technology we have now?!

Thanks for posting this, I missed it in the news.<p>On a side note - I am always surprised when these sorts of releases don&#x27;t also list pre-seeded torrent links as a download option. Their poor server must be getting hammered at the moment.

This is not unexpected. Releasing those documents is part of the covid relief bill as stated in the article and the US gov agency have six months to comply. Who of the representatives was such a X-Files fan to include this in the bill will remain for the curious to find.
