I'm curious if anyone knows of any permits or legal issues with this? I've heard other stories of kids trying to sell things and start entrepreneurship in California and have been hit with legal issues. I think that was only with food though since there are food licenses and things. It doesn't look like this boy is having that problem and I hope it stays that way.

In the wealthiest nation in the history of the world, 11.9 million children live in poverty. This one lived in a shed while others are allowed to amass resources that could last for a hundred generations or could feed and shelter hundreds of thousands of people.<p>This is not competition. This is a sickness of character.
"I feel happy because we don't have to struggle as much as before"<p>I know I speak this from a place of privilege, but it's positively heartbreaking when a child has to even be aware of their parents' financial insecurity.<p>Quite a wonderful story nevertheless.
