Show HN: Some Affirmations

1 pointsby inetseeover 4 years ago
I was purging some old files and I came across a file named "Affirmations.txt". Most of them are serious, some of them are funny. Not all of them include attribution. It shouldn't take more than a minute or two to read them. Enjoy!
When a task is ended, there should be no procrastination in what's next to be done.
Up, sluggard, and waste not life; in the grave will be sleeping enough. Benjamin Franklin
In the province of the mind, what one believes to be true either is true or becomes true. John Lilly
He who refuses to embrace a unique opportunity loses the prize as surely as if he had failed. William James
You must push yourself beyond your limits, all the time. Carlos Castaneda
In order to progress in life, one has to improve every day, in an endless process. Hagakure
Don't wait for success, Start ahead without it.
Victory belongs to the most persevering. Napoleon Bonaparte
Thinking is the hardest work there is, which is the probable reason why so few people engage in it. Henry Ford
We have enough youth, how about a fountain of smart.
Give me the strength to change the things I can, the grace to accept the things I cannot, and a great, big bag of money.
If ignorance is bliss, why aren't more people happy.
