I’m surprised how well Apple has done under Time Cook, considering how dull and uninspiring he is - he was a master of logistics and I think that is one of Apple’s secret weapons, it always amazes me how they manage to deliver hundreds of millions of devices to every corner of the Globe within a few days of a launch event.
If Steve Jobs was still around, Apple would probably have more interesting products such as as VR headset you can actually use, but it’s hard to imagine them being even more successful, Steve Cook has executed so well, though their recent arbitrary App store bannings do not bode well and will I think cause a shift away from Apps to PWAs.
Well, Steve Jobs was borderline crazy, a perfectionist, and wanted beautiful end products that reminded him of the simplicity of the 60s and record players. Tim Cook is a product of latter times and, not to be offensive, does not have a coherent vision of the future for Apple [le Applications] so ... it's hard to compare them. I might be way off, since I don't know a lot about Mr. Cook.
