I have a Parler account. I only put up about ten Parleys on it before it was shut down. (One of them was a video about building houses out of bricks that will last for millennia, as opposed to building out of the junk you find at a home center.) I said nothing even remotely violent.<p>The idea of collective punishment is about anti-American as you can get.<p>I think that we are on a dangerous collision course with censorship in this country. What Digital Ocean is doing is every bit as dangerous as what Amazon is doing.<p>The pen is always mightier than the sword. Violence is <i>never</i> the answer. I still hang on to the hope that these incredibly bad decisions may yet be reversed.<p>EDIT: downvoting me only gives me further evidence that practical freedom of speech is eroding...
