Since we turned all remote, I've seen a repetition of meetings with different people to discuss the same things. I see it as a form of bureaucracy enabled by the visibility of all calendars and the wish for anyone to intervene everywhere.<p>What's your experience? How do you deal with it?
Yes, I think that the low friction of zoom meetings coupled with the inefficiency in video call communication (lots of time spent on collisions, and deciding who goes first), has really made productivity suffer.<p>I think a possible solution is to imitate open-source projects, and discuss things in IRC or a shared git document repo.
