Ubuntu 21.04 Will Use Wayland by Default

One of my personal problems with wayland is that electron and other chromium apps can&#x27;t properly fractionally scale, they&#x27;re all blurry.<p>The bigger issue to me is that there are hundreds of little issues like this that make it painful to use wayland still.

I need a replacement for `xdotool` before I can commit to using wayland. Any good wayland tutes?

This is fanatic news. I use Wayland for my day to day (per-monitor scaling in GNOME is reason enough) and more adoption will bring wider software support. Not that XWayland is much of a problem, but it would still be nice to kill it off or make it very rare.

None of my programs work with Wayland. So why would I use XWayland when I can just use X.org?
