MacBook Pro 13“ (2018, non-touchbar) just died while upgrading

1 pointsby adrianvoicaover 4 years ago
So, my MBP 13" just died while upgrading from Big Sur 11.1 to 11.2. It was working great with 11.1. I tried everything to revive it. Nothing. Black screen of death. WTF, Apple!? Fix your sh*t. You only have to optimize the drivers for a few models, how is this even possible? Do they even TEST the damn thing on all the so-called "supported devices" before release? Super lame. "It just works"... until it's bricked for no reason.

I'd try NVRAM reset.
