This will probably get buried but...
---
https://www.debian.org/donations
---
I run Debian Testing as my main OS and have for years. Laptops, desktops, 5000 Pis, 500+ servers, anywhere. Had an extra brain cell fire this morning and realized that I should donate to the project. Blah, blah, free software, what a deal, etc. I've use Debian as the tech foundation for 3+ companies. I'm not really short on $$$.
It's the foundation for loads of popular distributions. It was an early leader in packaging. Say what you will about systemd but Debian did a bang-up job of deciding about the transition and then of handling the transition. Without a thought, I pay $20 for a game I play for 4 hours and then forget... ON DEBIAN. I install VSCode using a ".deb" from MICROSOFT on DEBIAN (...cats and dogs living together...).
This is ridiculous. So I donated and will do so again in a few months. Anyhow, just wanted to mention this in case someone else hadn't thought this thought... Now I'm going to go give some $$$ to Rust.
