Scientists Found a Way to Communicate with People Who Are Asleep and Dreaming

Is this new? I read a book years ago about lucid dreaming which described experiments in which lucid dreamers were able to communicate with awake observers through pre-arranged eye signals.<p>I think the book was <i>Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming</i>, which came out in 1991.

You know this will be used to create new forms of ads, video games, and mandatory meetings while asleep.
