Wait until someone at Wired figures out the NRO's next iteration of the Sentient program has the contract code named "Cyberdyne." There's something to be said for just enthusiastically embracing your public perception as a villain.

North Korea now knows of South Korea/Hyundai's capabilities. Why require mandatory military service for S.Korean men when you have real-life robots at the DMZ patrolling and shooting. That $1.1B deal was actually of great value for the South Korean automobile giant.
On a lighter note, those robotic dogs will be critical for fire protection because the trend in South Korea is for more high-rise apartments. You watch too many stories on the news of people being trapped as egresses are limited.

We were funded by Darpa. Cleary we have no interest in creating weapons. Darpa .. uh .. doesn’t do that.
Anybody who believes the children or grandchildren of Spot won’t be used by governments to oppress/police/kill people should call me. I have a bridge for sale.
