Opinionated. Just because we are productive doesn’t always mean we are doing all the work - we use better tooling. There are work places and companies that follow this type of thinking and keep their employees on their toes, by putting them on a short leash and expecting something from them every few minutes. This is absurd. People burn out and die early! World may change but don’t lose your wits over it. If you are in top 10% of your profession, you have no need to have a panic attack

this isn't by a google engineering director, it quotes ray kurzweil at one point and then puts 'google director' in the title presumably for clicks.

a little peeved I read most of that only to be advertised to about a free course at the end... felt like an MLM pitch
