Does anybody do day-to-day things aimed at influencing their future self? I often schedule calendar events or self-emails with motivational/“think about X” messages. Sometimes if I’m feeling a particularly strong emotion, I also record a pep talk to my future self.<p>Wondering if anyone else does something similar?
I try to focus on influencing my current self to point it in the direction I want my future self to be. I do ‘‘tis be writing down what I want to be in 5 years then work backwards from there at tactical changes.
