Recently I signed up for YouTube and it's weird that I get a lot of Sky News items presented to me even though that is very far from my usual preference. So I click the "not interested" but still those things come back every couple of days. My guess is they make more money from people who are fond of sky news type content and will keep pounding away in the hopes of finding or converting their users to that kind of perspective. On the other hand I've never had BBC news or PBS news items show up in my lists. So there's one anecdotal data point.
