Congrats on launching! I've played with Roam Research and Obsidian before and like the concept of a knowledge graph. Is the Hypernotes graph similar to those? Any differentiating features?
Hello HN!
Hypernotes is a knowledge-management tool similar to the likes of Roam Research, Obsidian and Notion. It provides all the features that have become the gold-standard for personal and organizational knowledge management in recent years:
1) Bi-directional linking between related notes & automated connection suggestions,
2) Outlining of large topics into smaller sub-topics,
3) Embedding of text blocks to reduce duplicate content,
4) Knowledge graphs for better discovery,
5) Extensive collaboration on the task, note, and notebook level,
6) Support of text formatting like markdown, code, LaTex, etc.
In addition to Roam, Hypernotes offers features listed here:
1) Hosting on EU servers (GDPR etc.)
2) Mobile apps & offline access
3) Enterprise-grade admin and user management (SSO, SCIM, Groups, Roles)
4) Visual ways to interact with your graph (drag&drop)
5) MS Teams integration (next week)
6) Advanced task managmement (assigments etc.)
7) Chat functions (via Zenchat)
We would love it if you'd try it out and give us some feedback! Also, if you have any questions about Hypernotes please don't hesitate to post it in the comments.
Thanks!
