I've tried a lot of editors for writing (web and native), most of them map the Ctrl+B to be text bold (sometimes map the Control + A to be select all).<p>They don't know what it means. I always use Ctrl + A/F/E/B to move the cursor on macOS. If the editor hijackings these keys, I have to use arrow keys (my keyboard doesn't have arrow keys).<p>It's better to hijacking Modifier key instead of the Ctrl key.
