Imperfect Vaccination Can Enhance the Transmission of Highly Virulent (2015)

The consensus viewpoint that "vaccines are going to end the pandemic and 'allow' us to go back to normal" is very puzzling to me. Even with a 100% vaccination rate it seems clear that they will still allow for some level of community transmission to continue, and there are always animal reservoirs for the virus to hide out in too. We just have no idea how the evolving virus is going to interact with a large imperfectly-vaccinated population -- the clinical trials tell us nothing about this.
