Ask HN: No-code computer science books

2 pointsby kettunenabout 4 years ago
What are your favourite no-code computer science books?<p>I have always enjoyed reading these kinds of books where various topics are handled from a high-level perspective instead of the ones where the author implements them in concrete code. The main reason for this has often been that these kinds of code related books are often outdated, inadequate and full of errors, which is why I often enjoy reading design-related books more. So I&#x27;m interested in what books might HN recommend in this field?

I read &quot;9 Algorithms that Changed the Future&quot; (John MacCormick) before taking a real CS degree and I still enjoy it after I graduated.
