This looks nice enough, but I've been using my general calendar app (Google Calendar) with a yearly repeating event for this, and I'm not quite sure what this gives me over that.
i'm a huge fan of the recent trend in open-sourced "micro services" that offer one useful product and can be run on a heroku free tier
even one mildly tech-savvy member of a friend group could reasonably manage the digital infrastructure of a personal social circle as a hobby
Idea- Allow adding birthdays in alternate calendars. That would be a real differentiator from things like Google Calendar, which don't usually allow recurring events based on an alternate calendar. But a lot of people do celebrate birthdays based on other calendars, so when the main proposition is recurring events, it makes sense as a feature.
There is also https://www.monicahq.com/ of you want to remember more than birthdays!
