I was chatting to a Spectrum representative today through the MySpectrum iOS app due to low upload speeds. The representative asked where I was running the speed tests of the link they provided, and after I typed MacBook on the chat app, hundreds of warning messages started showing up due to the app copying information from my MacBook's clipboard.
I was aware of this issue with certain apps in iOS (https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2020/06/tiktok-and-53-other-ios-apps-still-snoop-your-sensitive-clipboard-data/), but I hadn't read about this happening between devices.
Apple's Universal Clipboard is probably the culprit.
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT209460
