Record and replay websites by capturing browser syscalls

What is a "browser syscall"? Is this a native way to record browser interactions, without running anything inside the browser context?

I’m pretty sure Hotjar has had this for a while, though maybe not implemented in the same way

Looks useful, but can't try it out without joining a beta list.
