Ask HN: Are there any software engineering books you can read casually?

7 pointsby svaleeabout 4 years ago
Each time I pick up a software engineering book, I need to sit around the table with my code editor opened or at least a notebook to take notes. I wonder if there any books that I can read while I am commuting, for example, but that would still bring some technical knowledge and expertise in the field?

“The Phoenix project”, and its sequel “the unicorn project” only come to mind.
