Outside the UK I’m being forced to register to read BBC news. For example:<p>https://www.bbc.com/news/business-56910255<p>Has this happened recently?

I think it's been there for the last year or so. You can skip it by pressing the close button in the top right of the blue dialog.

Having same experience. Had seen the blue dialog before, but now the top right close button is no longer there.
