We’ve all heard anecdotes about how Apple’s mismanagement of the safari team is holding back the entire web. This article is the first one I’ve read that goes in depth about specific issues, comparison with other browser vendors, and how things could be better.<p>Personally, I’m sick and tired of dealing with safari issues, and can corroborate the ridiculous amount of time wasted because, for whatever reason, Safari needs to be special and do things differently than Firefox or Chrome. As the article points out, their lack of funding and low quality implementations is, in essence, forcing the rest of us to subsidize the richest company on earth.
