<i>The</i> most important bit, now that everything is soldered on, your <i>Data</i> is now tied to your Devices. There is no way to get it back. And generally speaking Apple dont <i>fix</i> the their machine anymore. They only offer to swap of new logic-broad. Which is why every single fix is crazy expensive.<p>I can understand why having non-removable memory in the name of thinness, structure integrity and some other reason such as profit margin. But having user Data as hostage, and Apple is increasingly doing do across <i>all</i> of their product line are user hostile.<p>If they even offer a services to have those Data back with a small service charge I would have given them a pass. Except they dont. They want you to buy a new device.
