Someone opened a GitHub issue calling it &quot;pretentious&quot; and asked to rename the project but it got closed w&#x2F; a &quot;U Mad Bro&quot; response: <a href="https:&#x2F;&#x2F;github.com&#x2F;standard&#x2F;standard&#x2F;issues&#x2F;1609" rel="nofollow">https:&#x2F;&#x2F;github.com&#x2F;standard&#x2F;standard&#x2F;issues&#x2F;1609</a><p>Maybe that makes it officially a standard after all.
