It was a mind shatteringly great post when he posted it & it still keeps coming up again and again, Steve yeggee's Notes From The Muster Magic Bus[1].<p>> Software engineering has its own political axis, ranging from conservative to liberal.<p>To me this identified a core truth in myself & helped me reject fear, de-prioritize the small stuff, learn to let more colleagues attempt's ride (even though I saw better possibilities). I wanted to be a liberal software developer, not afraid of, not clutching to maintain systems & status quo's & notions of security.
