Ask HN: Have you had trouble recruiting Clojure developers?

Secondary question: Have you had trouble bringing on devs that didn&#x27;t want to learn a new language?<p>i.e. &quot;I don&#x27;t want to work in Clojure, thanks anyway.&quot;

I tried to get Clojure jobs once, was turned away everywhere for lack of experience despite having used Lisp and variants fairly regularly since uni.

Do you have more details? I would be interested in understanding this specific situation a little better - can you tell us a little more about what the job requirements are? What type of salary range?<p>I would guess that these days that Clojure isn&#x27;t &quot;popular&quot; in a large sense so you have developers who would rather build their careers on more recognizable programming languages (java, javascript, c#, etc).

The second question is puzzling. Are you offering to train new hires on Clojure?
