Do Developers Still Want Swag?

Hell No... I used to be attracted to it like a moth to a flame. Then after getting it I found out it's mostly useless. Most of the stuff I never used and the stuff I found useful was mostly covered with ugly logos so I did not use it. Also, getting rid of the stuff is a pain. I hate to throw out new stuff but I don't use it. And people don't want it. Then what?
For me, give me a free slushee or cookie and that will make me much happier.

I find that swag from companies I have worked for recently is high quality, great stuff. 3rd party swag at conferences? No thanks.
I have great back packs and other items from Capital One and Olive AI, and stuff I purchased in Google’s store is neat.

I don't need more clutter in my life, especially what's usually cheap junk.
