- If you were to build it, how exactly would you do it? (details of implementation, cryptoeconomics, rewards etc.)
- Would it be an 10x improvement over current implementation of stack overflow?
Let me start and please grow the idea. So, somebody are having itch to answer, which means that they are being payed from the blockchain-core cryptoeconomics. Asking questions may remain free. Asking questions requires signing someone's txs with mining since it is not just blockchain but a cryptocurrency. Any questions must be in a block somehow as well as new users have registered for the time of incrementing blockchain. Free money from every block will be divided between ASIC miner and answerers. Why not try? BTW it may be used for hosting some hard political questions which will unwanted for dictators. if Stackoverflow will contain no media except text, it will not become too hard for miners to host it.
Too long to go into details (as I'm not going to implement it), but I would create a platform token which would be the currency for asking questions and used to pay the best answers.
If the idea is to pay people for the best answers and take a percentage, then why not just use money?
If your answer is anonymity or freedom from regulations, governments don’t care. They’ll regulate you.
sounds similar to brave attention tokens (BAT)
I guess you'd be better off with dedicated coin (blockchain) to avoid transaction fees for every question, answer, but you could still gain tokens & transfer between chains.
but to be honest I'd rather see git with crypto than a forum with crypto. get rewarded for your code. maybe only for running API versions of it.
