Accidentally found a serious website bug. What do I do now?

4 pointsby hart_russellalmost 4 years ago
I just created an account on fedex.com to print a document. In the "My Online Documents", I found there were already some documents uploaded. These documents are not mine and include PDFs of someone's ID card, unemployment insurance applications, and other personal documents. I'm looking at their DOB, email, phone, address, details of their termination, their previous salary, etc.
Where do I go from here to make sure this is properly investigated?

From their privacy notice FAQ[1], you can contact them by emailing username "webmaster" at the domain name "fedex.com".
Failing a response there, it may also be worth attempting to send mail to the username "security" at the same domain, which has a good chance of being routed to a sensible inbox.
[1] - https://www.fedex.com/en-us/trust-center/privacy/privacy-not...
