Creators can now monetize their expertise on Quora

Do people actually use Quora? Anytime I've had the misfortune to click a link the site is cancer and the answers are all spammy and completely irrelevant.

How is Quora still a thing? Who in the target audience hasn't moved on to Medium, LinkedIn or Twitter?
