Surely this stat can&#x27;t be correct:<p>&gt; &quot;Even before COVID-19, people spent a ton of time in front of screens. One survey found that the average American spends a whopping 17 hours and nine minutes a day on a laptop, phone, or gaming device. The pandemic pushed that time to more than 19 hours.&quot;<p>Clicking through to the source I can only assume that their survey subjects must be looking at TV screens, laptops and gaming devices concurrently. 19 hours a day would mean looking at some sort of screen in the shower and sleeping only 5 hours a day.
