How to create a monochrome hachure-style relief map in QGIS 3.20

I spent most of the weekend writing a super-detailed tutorial on how to create a map using hachures in QGIS. The hachures are created using SRTM elevation data, geometry generators, and there is also a section on how to style them dynamically using the new interpolated lines feature in QGIS 3.20.
Do let me know if you find it useful and want to see more like this as it took a lot of time and energy to create — it'll help me justify spending time to create more.

This is great. QGIS has to be one of the best pieces of OSS that I've ever encountered. Sure it has a steep learning curve, but it has so much flexibility. Chloropleths/USDOT data/USGS data and LeafletJS are where I've spent most of my time, but seeing how to create topographic maps is always worth a read.
