As someone with a basic understanding of the water cycle, can anyone tell me - where is the water going, or why isn't it being replenished?
I imagine that somewhere else on earth there are locations receiving historically unprecedented amounts of rainfall. Or is it the case that there is less water in the atmosphere due to changes in composition?
Links to any references or primary sources would be greatly appreciated.
