If humans are to find a “path” off of earth, it won’t be en masse. Space travel is incredibly expensive. Only a small number of pioneering humans (and associated spacecraft) would need to get to wherever we would be going, and then nature would have to take its course. The rest of us are going to make the best of it here on earth.
