My wallet is long enough to carry bills full length without folding, and even a passport. I guess you’d call it a biker or trucker style, because it has a chain to connect to my belt.<p>But I got it because it was a Pacsafe RFID secure wallet, in a style which I guess they don’t make anymore.<p>Works for me. I don’t see a problem here.

My semi-serious guess is that somebody at the CDC came up with this poor design without thinking, but nobody dared criticize it lest they appear to be advocating for vaccine passports, which is a taboo topic of discussion at the CDC. An implicit, unintentional conspiracy theory.

I immediately folded mine in half, put it in my wallet, and have had no issues since.
