I have a feeling that I couldn't trust Reddit staff to actually identify misinformation even if they saw it.
I think that the fact that the voting mechanism doesn't handle this already naturally is a sign that Reddit's voting algorithm needs revisiting as a whole.

So, is there some specific community being targeted for this? Maybe I'm ignorant to some huge antivaxx sub on the level to r/the_donald, but most misinformation I see tends to be some downvoted drivel deep in the comment section of a post. So, Reddit works as intended.
The subs called out I see after skimming don't seem to amount to much
- r/noNewNormal, which is already quarantined
- r/ivermectin, which is concerning, but not even a sub with 10K subs. Worth bringing attention too, but I wouldn't imagine a mass protest being made over such a small community
- r/conspiracy. Sure, but that sub has been wacko well before the pandemic. It's in the name.
- Then the usual conservative subs because Reddit. Not even worth acknowledging.
Am I missing something?
