Ask HN: Simple multi-currency bookkeeping on a Mac - impossible?

1 pointsby brockfalmost 14 years ago
I am looking to cut the monthly expense of PulseApp (which doesn't handle multiple currencies too well, anyways) and move to a downloadable app for my business bookkeeping. I have CAD and USD currency accounts that I need to track, and need to be able to generate income/expense reports that span both currencies and handle exchange rates properly (on the date of the transaction).
Any suggestions?

Perhaps Money4 is what you're looking for?
http://www.jumsoft.com/money/

Perhaps gnucash? I haven't played with its multicurrency support extensively, but it is at least partly functional.
