I'm astonished to know that phone numbers of anyone is visible to others within an Active Directory, and it is more than hard to change this behaviour:<p>https://serverfault.com/questions/642002/is-it-possible-to-hide-a-phone-number-in-the-global-address-list-from-certain-us<p>Personally I believe that phone numbers should be a kind of privacy not only for public but also for internal systems, since you do not trust all of them (especially in a large corporate). But given this, I'm wondering if this behaviour persists in other places (e.g., G Suite), and does it "seem just normal" to people?

To me, it is clear: If I didn't give it to you, you shouldn't have my phone number.
