Dark Patterns That Mislead Consumers Are All over the Internet

Part of it is certainly getting consumers to understand that any time it’s a free trial they are going to try and get you to just pay (hope you forget). What I’ve noticed with apple has been encouraging, lots of messages letting you know that you will be charged and on what date. I mean the better design is to just give the trial and then when it’s up ask if you want to subscribe or give an option to start the subscription right after the free trial.

Have recently been scammed by a couple of these, and was pretty sure I knew better. Curious if this community has any suggested recourse for this kind of stuff? Especially after the fact, when you realized you've been scammed?
