Microsoft was created by high school friends, Bill Gates and Paul Allen.<p>At the time Bill Gates was at Harvard and Paul Allen was a programmer at Honeywell.<p>Once Microsoft was created Gates dropped out of Harvard.<p>So I'm not sure the college campus had a lot to do with the birth of Microsoft.
