Clubhouse is a classic case of how much venture capital has changed over the years and this case seems to be another.<p>There was always a sense of investing in a-yet-unproven business model or technology but what seems to have happened over the past few years is less of a focus on technological advantages and more on a "Set the valuation high since even a brick will float in this market" approach.<p>Lots of easy money. . .competition from alternative investment assets such as Crypto seem to be pushing traditional venture capital to desperate measures to justify their existence.
