Ask HN: What are good alternatives to Twilio?

2 pointsby recvonlineover 3 years ago
We were using Twilio in my last two companies (SMS and Voice), and now trialing Voice at my current employee. We want to reach multiple countries and face several problems when using Twilio.
Long story short, in those years (~5) I feel like their products are getting worse, opened support tickets can't be viewed by the whole team any more, and feature requests we made to their support (and talking to other devs, they faced the same limitations back then) are still not addressed.
Before I go through multiple of other companies/products, I am curious of experiences with other communication providers and what good alternatives there are!
