The reader comments on this article are overwhelmingly supportive of Chappelle. So why is journalistic opinion on the topic in the u.s. almost entirely not?<p>My best guess is Twitter. Most journalist are active Twitter users and may have imbibed a particular culture from it that is out of step with even the more left leaning parts of the general public, like NYTimes readers.

I’m all for trans rights, I haven’t seen the special yet. Either way Netflix has absolutely nothing to worry about. I’m sure whatever pushback is a minuscule drop in the bucket.

Glow is not something measured objectively; stock-price etc. are, and those are the only metrics that matter to a company.
