They shouldn't be able to issue fines without someone else at least having a look at the photo and validating it. Whoever then signs off on this should be reprimanded / fired.<p>I completely get using technology as a productivity booster, however there needs to always be a human responsible and liable for any mistake, otherwise we end up automating incompetence.
Fuck ups like this get me so mad as they are always such a waste of time and you never get compensated for having to resolve them yourself, e.g. waiting on hold for hours to speak to a human being or having to send a physical letter, etc.
